Wednesday of last week Ryan, Brian, Mike, some kid with satelite ears, and myself went up to Peterskill for a session. We warmed up at the carriage road after having briefly chilled in the overlook lot. After greasing up the Lorax for a while, we moved down the road to Pkill. After sketchily parking two cars in the closed lot, we headed for the Khadeja/Darf Toss/ Giant Steps area. The session went well, with Ryan, Brian, and Mike making quick work of Dwarf Toss. Just as Brian, goldfinger and Mike were getting into Khadeja, we heard some guy yell "What the hell do you think you're doing!" Busted! Even Ryan's offer to let them watch him climb giant steps, at night, by headlamp didnt convince the rangers to let us stay. We got kicked out, and headed to the carriage road for a lot of walking and little climbing. Anyway, here are some photos from the night.
